Other than the fact that some PSone classics that were promised this week did not materialize, there is still a great deal going on for fans of the Resident Evil series. If you’re a Plus member you’ll get all three original PSone RE games for free (well a “license”). But if you’re not a Plus member you can still grab them for 2.99 instead of the usual 5.99. If you’ve never played this games before you can check out the reviews of Resident Evil, Resident Evil 2, and Resident Evil 3, but clicking on their names (For my money RE2 is the best).

MegaMan 4 hitting Japanese Imports Tuesday

Megaman 4 out Tuesday for all you Capcom fans out there.

There hasn’t been much news coming out from me lately, that half has to do with the fact my laptop is having a feud with me, and half due to the lack of news about PSone Classics being released. Luckily this week there’s another game coming out there for fans of the Megaman series. Megaman 4, as you would suspect is coming out as a Japanese import title, meaning that the text mostly should be in Japanese, but if you really care about the dialogue in a Megaman game you’re missing the point.

Breath of Fire IV now rated by the ESRB too.

This should be interesting…

We learned just yesterday that Breath of Fire 4 should be coming to the Playstation Network on August 16th if the publisher Capcom knows anything about it, and today just to make sure we all know the ESRB rated the game for release. Now at least we know there will be one PSone Classic will be released on the service, the first western psone classic release since Tekken was released over two months ago. Since then all we’ve gotten are Japan PSone imports despite the fact that we were promised tons of games even before the great PSN hack of 2011.

Breath of Fire 4 making it’s way to PSN in August

Breath of Fire 4 coming to PSN

After being royal dicks to gamers excited for MegaMan Legends 3, Capcom has said in a post on their official forums that Breath of Fire 4, a beloved RPG of the PS1 age is coming to the North American Playstation Store on August 16th. Info comes from Christian Svensson a senior VP at the company. What will be really interesting is whether it actually is released on that date, considering in the past Capcom has said it expected it’s PSone Classics to be released on the store on a certain date, and they were delayed for some strange reason.
