Finally our collective prayers have been answered.
Square Enix got off their buts and finally got their PSone Classics coming to PSN. We’ve all been waiting months since these games were outed on the ESRB rating website, but their finally there! Tuesday these two originally SNES classics will be coming to PSN. No word on the price yet, but don’t be surprised if they’re both at the 9.99 price point, these games are revered for a reason.
Chrono Trigger is a game where you’re jumping around time like Marty McFly trying to prevent the apocalypse, and FF6 originally Final Fantasy 3 in North America is another game in the long term series, which I have never played, but I’m sure it has something to do with Crystals, as they all do.
Who is excited for these titles? I grew up hearing about them, but I’ve never taken the plunge, I guess this is my chance!

Hell yeah!!!!
Its just Xenogears and the Final Fantasy Square PS One Classics that are $10.00, there are six other Square PS One games that are only $5.99, so Chrono Trigger might be $6.00…….. Doesn’t matter, I’ll buy them for $10.00!

who knows what it will cost! But it should be interesting, sadly though I have such a huge backlog of titles right now, it’s staggering lol.

So I guess we’re not getting FFVI and CT this week.
On the bright side, some of those comments on The Drop post are pretty entertaining:
“Seriously though, you guys can go f*** yourselves.”
“Rey was terrible even back to when he was with Destructoid.”
“You should be fired from this “Drop” business.”
I’m not as pissed as some of those people, but I seriously wonder if Rey Gutierrez even knows anything about video games. That Drop post had a lot of amateur and just plain stupid mistakes in it. At least people could tell that the other stuff was false, (Mass Effect 2 being released on PSN AGAIN, RE4 with Move Support) but getting peoples hopes up about FFVI and CT……that was just……wrong.

Well we can scratch this post. The official PSN Blog has crossed out the PSN releases. They don’t have a release date for the PSone classics.

They should give us a free PSone classic of our choosing for this massive failure. Of course they won’t, but isn’t it nice to dream?

Whoops, just posted before reading these comments, it is an horrible failure on their part, and really surprising, as they really seemed to believe it as well. I mean it can happen to anyone, but I would assume that a corporation like Sony could double check their posts once and a while. It seems like Rey was just completely out of the loop, because he didn’t fix it as soon as it was released.
