Just… WOW…
Wow, this is a spectacular failure on the part of the Playstation blog, as everyone saw, Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy 6 were supposed to be released Tuesday, as outlined on the Playstation Blog’s weekly update, the Drop. But recently they updated their twitter saying it was all a mistake, and you can go home. No games for you.
People have been waiting months for these games, (which have been rated by the ESRB numerous times) and now this!?! It’s beginning to look a lot more like the North American Playstation Blog is simply incompetent. They have apologized for this error though, by saying “yeah they’re coming but not this week” . Sadly we already knew that, and have been waiting for months and once again no dates were given for their release.
It seems like a simple case of the left hand not knowing what the right hand is doing, and it seems like Sony has done that a lot over the last year…
Anyone else upset by this?

Its seems like more than “the left hand not knowing what the right hand is doing” to me, because there were soooo many utterly stupid mistakes in that Drop post. Like I commented in the other post, it seems more like the Rey Gutierrez not knowing what he’s doing. Common sense should have prevented some of his mistakes.
With all the weird stuff that’s happened with Chrono Trigger and FFVI, it feels like someone’s trying to drive us all insane. The $20.00 copy of FF Chronicles on Amazon is looking tempting. I’m beginning to sound like a bitter fanboy, so I’ll shut up now

…I’ll live. I need antidepressants now, but I’ll live.

I think Capcom will release Breath of Fire III before any new Squaresoft PSone classics come out. This complete mess gives me a chance to finish Xenogears anyway.

I’ve been seeing that a lot lately with Japanese game companies its something they desperately need to work on. I wouldn’t have bought CT because I already got it but VI would have been a real boon to my collection.

Chrono Cross and FF Orgins have been rated by esrb, two more Square classics to look forward too!
