The Playstation Vita went up for pre-order this week in Japan, and a lot of people were lined up, like they always are in Japan for new game consoles. The Vita is out the on December 17th, and the software is all priced, (the same price points as PSP software despite the bump in graphics more or less), the accessories are all shown, and people already have their pre-orders in on the other side of the pond (well, the other OTHER side).
But where’s our release date? When can I line up at a store to put my two bits in the pile for a as of yet mythical device that will fulfill all my dreams? We can only speculate wildly at this point sadly, so I think we’ll get the announcement for the PSVita on November 17th, (one week after everyone has bought and played Uncharted 3), and the device will come out… February 18th.
Just a guess… What the hell else am I going to talk about this week, XS Junior League Football? Ugh… Lets hope for some news tomorrow!

I’m gonna go with Amazon.com’s release date, March 31. The PSP released in Japan in December ’04 and in the US in March ’05, so the Vita release could be similar.
